Product Description
Broad spectrum sulphonamide antibiotic for the treatment of coccidiosis, enteritis, bacterial infections and diarrhoea in caged birds.
Size: 50ml
Active Ingredient
70mg/ml Sulfadimidine Sodium (equivalent to 64.9mg/ml Sulfadimidine)
Dose Rate/Directions:
Administer either in drinking water OR by adding to food.
- Parrots: 5.0g/L in water (1 level spoon per 125ml).
- Finch/Pigeon: 2.5g/L (1 level spoon per 250ml).
- All Ornamental Birds: 5.0g/kg in dry food (1 level spoon per 125g).
- All Ornamental Birds: 10.0g/kg in Hand Rearing Food (2 level spoons per 125g).
- Remove all sources of unmedicated water and prepare fresh solutions daily.
- Remove sources of grit and calcium for the duration of treatment.
- Supply medicated water for 5-7 days (Psittacosis 45 days) in glass, glazed or plastic containers.
